Exciting projects, close collaboration, new partnerships and consistency characterized our year 2023. A review of the past 12 months that allows us to look positively into the future and fills us with great joy.
A joy that we would like to share. This year, we have once again decided to do something good for Christmas. Our team collected suggestions and then voted on them. As a result, we are supporting four organizations with our Christmas donation this year:
Hospice Association Neumarkt e.V.
The Hospizverein Neumarkt e.V. is there for people who need support, help and human closeness in the grief and distress of the last period of illness. Its staff help people to shape their own lives in familiar surroundings and to consciously live them to the end. Regardless of origin, religion and type of life-threatening illness, they support affected patients and their relatives with necessary decisions and problems in everyday life or provide grief counseling for children and adults.
Sternstunden e.V.
For 30 years, Sternstunden has been taking responsibility for sick, disabled children and children in need - in Bavaria, Germany and around the world, providing help as quickly and easily as possible. Thanks to the helpfulness of many people, Sternstunden has been able to raise more than 372 million euros since it was founded in 1993, supporting 3,849 children's aid projects.
Friedrichskoog seal sanctuary
The tasks of the seal station include information, breeding and research on all aspects of the native marine mammals. The seal station has occupied an important position in nature conservation and tourism for over 35 years thanks to its animal-friendly, near-natural breeding of harbor seals and grey seals and application-oriented, current research initiatives on species protection and the ecology of seals. It has been recognized as a national park house in the network of national park information units for many years and has also been included in the national park partnership programme.
Animal welfare association Aschaffenburg u.U. e.V.
The Aschaffenburg Animal Welfare Association was founded in 1889 and has been committed to animal welfare and animal placement in the region ever since. The association is significantly involved in many projects for the benefit of animals, e.g. the introduction of a cat protection ordinance and the castration fund. Its close cooperation with the fire department and police ensures that animals in need can be secured and cared for around the clock. The animal welfare association also looks after orphaned and injured wild animals and campaigns for more respectful treatment of urban pigeons.
We are pleased to support these four organizations financially with our donation.
