Migration
From A to B - migrations quickly, securely and, above all, correctly.
When existing PLM systems are changed or replaced or a consolidation of heterogeneous system landscapes is implemented in the company, large amounts of design and master data have to be migrated. ECS finds the appropriate migration method and the suitable migration framework for you.
Based on our many years of experience, we jointly define the optimal strategy for the data transfer and also help you to cleanse, correctly classify and convert the existing data in the sense of data cleansing in order to transfer it automatically to your new system environment. When migrating from an existing to a new software solution, it is always necessary to migrate not only the data but also the processes to the new application.
Naturally, a migration not only leads to changes in data, but also to changes in your processes. These affect the respective departments in their daily work. For this reason, a detailed analysis is required at the start of the project, which identifies the specific process changes and their effects on the company in your department and also in the respective department. Subsequently, the affected departments should be prepared for the changes. In this regard, we offer you detailed checklists, best practices and proven implementation methods for complexity simplification based on our experience from national and international projects.
Integration
From "silo thinking" to integrated, interconnected and efficient work.
An integration project offers ECS a variety of starting points to meet the demand for reduction and simplification of complexity. Thus, we first answer the fundamental question with you, whether we work with standard solutions or with individual solutions and whether an authoring system is to be integrated or whether it is a matter of process integration. ECS is ideally equipped for both areas.
In turn, we distinguish between three system worlds with completely different requirements. On the one hand, the integration of enterprise applications, such as ERP and CRM. On the other hand, authoring systems, such as CAD and Office, and thirdly, the integration of IoT systems. ECS supports you in networking your PLM information in the different system worlds to ensure that complex data is always complete, up-to-date, company-wide and thus easily available.
